Dialer benchmark on your own contact list

Same leads. Same script. Side-by-side. We benchmark Hitrate against your existing dialer on your real list before you commit a single contract.

What is a dialer benchmark

Vendor selection on real data.

A dialer benchmark runs two or more dialer systems side-by-side against the same contact list and measures the difference in reachability, live-talk time, throughput and closed deals. The goal is to remove vendor selection from a feature comparison and put it on real campaign data — the only data that translates to your P&L.

Every Hitrate prospect runs one before committing. The reasoning is simple: feature lists, customer logos and marketing claims all look the same across vendors. The only thing that doesn't lie is what your agents close on your list. So we make that the contract.

This is also why Hitrate doesn't publish per-vendor comparison tables or rank against named competitors. The only ranking that matters is the one your floor produces on your own data.

How a Hitrate benchmark runs

Five days from intro to numbers.

1. Scope (day 1)

30-minute call to align on the contact list, the script, the KPI baselines and which agents will run the parallel campaign. We need a list, not a contract.

2. Setup (day 2)

Hitrate's team configures the campaign, imports the list, configures per-market compliance defaults, provisions outbound numbers and runs a test batch. The agents get a 30-minute orientation on the agent screen.

3. Live calling (days 3–10)

Agents work the campaign on Hitrate in parallel with the current system. Same script, same lead pool, same shift hours. We measure live, the customer measures live. Both numbers are visible to both sides.

4. Readout (day 11–14)

Side-by-side report on reachability, live-talk time, voicemail-to-live ratio, abandoned-call rate, outcomes per agent-hour, and closed deals per fixed contact volume. Plus per-agent breakdowns and recording samples on request.

5. Decision

The customer decides. If the numbers don't move, no contract. If they do, migration runs in a live channel of choice and most teams are fully operational on Hitrate inside a week.

What we measure

The KPIs that pay the floor.

The benchmark reports on six numbers — three leading indicators, three lagging.

Leading indicators

  • Reachability — percent of the list connected to a live human. The leading indicator for everything downstream.
  • Live-talk time per agent / hour — minutes of real conversation per working hour. Where voicemail filtering and pacing math compound.
  • Voicemail-to-live ratio — how often the agent's headset opens to a real human vs voicemail. Directly tied to the filter accuracy.

Lagging indicators

  • Abandoned-call rate — must stay inside local regulation. The pacing model downshifts automatically if approached.
  • Outcomes per agent / hour — Yes + No + Loss outcomes processed. The cleanest measure of how efficiently the dialer moves the agent through a list.
  • Closed deals per 20,000 contacts — the bottom-line number. Everything else compounds into this.
Hitrate's benchmark numbers

What the lift looks like.

These are the averages across the benchmarks Hitrate has run. Your own benchmark will produce different numbers — better or worse — depending on your list quality, market and agent setup. That's the point.

Orders per 20,000 contacts

+46%

Closed deals from an identical contact list. Hitrate vs the two most commonly switched-from systems.

Benchmark FAQ

Six questions buyers actually ask.

What is a dialer benchmark?
Running two or more dialer systems side-by-side against the same contact list to measure the difference in reachability, live-talk time, throughput and closed deals. The goal is to remove vendor selection from feature comparison and put it on real campaign data.
Why benchmark on your own data instead of vendor demos?
Demo data is curated to make the vendor look good. Your own list — real connect rates, real voicemail share, real conversion — is the only signal that translates to your P&L.
How long does a benchmark take?
Typical benchmarks run for 1–2 weeks of live calling. Long enough to see statistically meaningful differences. Setup takes hours, not days.
What does Hitrate need from us?
A contact list, the campaign script, your current KPI baselines (or read-only access to your reporting), and agents who'll work the campaign in parallel on both systems. No contracts, no commitments.
What KPIs does the benchmark measure?
Reachability, live-talk time per agent-hour, voicemail-to-live ratio, abandoned-call rate, outcomes per agent-hour, and closed deals per fixed contact volume.
What if Hitrate doesn't outperform?
Then you keep your current system. The benchmark is the contract — if the numbers don't move, the conversation ends there.
